I didn't buy my car from here but I come here for service. The guys in the shop are knowledgeable and they strive for customer satisfaction. Concerns with my car are always resolved when I bring my car in. If they don't have the required parts, they are ordered and I get a call to schedule another appointment.

Just purchased a 2024 outback here. Cesar Alvarez was a great sales rep, very patient, and didn't pressure us at all. His supervisor Daniel was also wonderful and we felt great about the entire process.

This dealership has become family to us! We have purchased 2 vehicles from them (Outback Magnetite Grey Metallic 2019 & Autumn Green 2024) over the past couple years. I wish we had the ability to buy 10 more cars from this dealership as they made the experience so enjoyable and easy. Tim Allen, our sales representative, went above and beyond to take care of all our needs, answer all our concerns and questions, and worked diligently to find us the best deals possible for our financial abilities. He spent time with us on the phone and in person many times over the span of 2 years in preparation to buy another car. He was always so patient, kind, funny, and caring at all our visits. We would not have been able to purchase another car with such confidence and ease without his help. Every visit we make to the dealership is so fun and exciting and, for my mom and I, feels like a trip to Disneyland. The experience is always one I look forward to because of their amazing coffee machine, comfortable waiting area, kind employees, fun car browsing, and educational opportunities to learn about my car. Not to mention the fact that we get to see and talk to some of our favorite employees we have come to think of as friends! Tim always makes us feel like he has all the time in the world to answer our questions and talk to us about the cars numerous features. As well as talk about personalizing the car to fit my lifestyle needs. I have not had such an enjoyable experience at any other car dealership I have been to, and could not imagine purchasing from any other dealership in the future! I cannot recommend Tim and Frank's Irvine Subaru Dealership to enough people, as I am always promoting them to everyone I know in case they are considering buying a new car soon, or to keep it in mind for the future.

We recently needed some basic services on our Forester (fluids and alignment) and they pointed out that the catalytic converter was failing. Our car has 140k miles on it and we were unexcited to throw a few thousand dollars into a new cat.
They informed us that the extended CA emissions warranty covered smog equipment until 150k miles, and they would replace the cat for no charge.
They performed the requested services quickly and because of the cat, needed another day to complete the install. They gave us a loaner vehicle and we picked up our car the next day (washed and ready to go!).
Additionally, when I cross shopped local dealers their prices were a little cheaper than some of the others around OC.

We were in the research of a reliable vehicle, Subaru brand popped out; I've used Costco Auto Program in the past, so decided to go on that route. The internet manager contacted me right away and indicated that it was his day off but available to show the vehicle; he came and let us do a drive test on our own; after the drive test we met at his office, he seems to be in a rush and barely look at us, after showing us the Costco price he printed the vehicles information and financial estimate. We left the dealer, a week later we were looking to go back to check the vehicle interiors again without planning to have a drive test. I decided to contact another sales person who speaks my first language, I told him that we were assisted by the internet manager a week ago but would prefer to speak with a person who speaks Spanish. The second sales guy was very helpful over the phone and told me that we will let the internet manager know about our call, and told him that was fine with me.
Minutes later the internet manager called me, he sound pissed off and told me that I shouldn't be calling another sales person other than him, tried to explain that I felt more confortable speaking to someone in Spanish and just want to check the car again before making a decision later.

All the vehicles that I've owned and driven have been hand-me-downs from my family. Not having a monthly car payment was a luxury amongst many other things which I preferred to keep up for as long as possible. Unfortunately, due to a recent accident which resulted to a total loss of my vehicle, I was forced to make an early decision of finally purchasing a new car.
I've always casually shopped around for cars over the years in the chance that I would ultimately have to make that jump. The Subaru Crosstrek has been on my radar for a few years now so I decided on it and wanted to find the nearest dealership to test drive it. I live in Lake Forest and Frank's Irvine Subaru was the closest dealership to me. This dealership was also recommended to me by a few friends who have purchased their Subarus here as well.
Naturally, I was nervous as this was my first car purchasing experience. I've heard countless stories about how much of a nightmare it could be. My experience here was anything but that. Steven was the associate who assisted me and he made my first time buying experience a walk in the park. No hassle, no pressure, no stress. I had only planned on just test driving the Crosstrek, but Steven made everything so easy, I ended up purchasing that same day.

Have had a great experience here in the past. Every time you come in they offer a free car wash! Unfortunately, today they left me know that they would not give me a rental during my oil change, making me over an hour late to work. In the past, I was always offered a rental so not sure why the change, but super upsetting to hear. I wish I knew in advance about this change.

Service Team Sebastion, Master Tech, and other Tech's that worked on our family outback are awesome! I Tyler kept me informed on all updates, Sebastion explained everything. It had issues from coolant system not properly done right, engine in limp mode, and was towed to them after another shop was supposed to fix it. Thank you for keeping my wife and baby safe! I will now definitely be making the drive here for all my Subaru's, WRX, Outack, and lifted outback

I bought a Forester from this Subaru and worked with Ian, who was awesome. He took me on a test drive and answered all of my questions about the car. He then worked with me on completing the purchase. He was courteous and knowledgeable the whole way through.
I only take off one star because of an issue with finance that could have been avoided had they told me to come in during 9-5 hours to complete the purchase. That caused a delay in me being able to take the car home, which was annoying. But beyond that, my experience was good.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I came in for my first service on my 2022 WRX and I have to say thank you to everyone that helped me out today. Sebastian, Evelyn, Franco, Alex, and more. Everyone was so nice and polite and very pleasant to work with. The team here went above and beyond for me and that's not always something you get from the service side. I did have an appointment and I was in and out in a timely manner. I definitely recommend making your way here to Irvine Subaru whenever you are in need of excellent service.

Mar 11, 2017Previous reviewEven though I have Subaru Dealers way closer to me, I don't ever mind driving out to see these guys. I had a recall that needed to be done and I was in and out of there in no time. Everyone's always so friendly and helpful and they understand my specific needs to my car. I'm one picky person and they never give me crap about that. That's why I appreciate this team here so much. From sales to service, all your car needs will definitely be fullfilled here!
